Do you know your facts and figures on Glasgow Celtic F.C.? Do you enjoy nothing better than being able to stump your clubmates / fellow Celts by asking a Celtic related question that you know the answer to?

Well, many a halftime at Celtic Park have been spent amongst our club doing the official match programmes’s trivia quiz (whilst one unfortunate soul is sent to brave the queues in search of food an drinks for the rest of those present). Piting your wits and knowledge on the club is also another way that we have become accustomed to whilst travelling up and down the road from Stranraer; and it is with this in mind that we can now put our companions to the sword with the support of this new 200 page quiz book.

Compiled by John White, published by Apex Publishing Ltd, and foreword by our own Honorary President Jim Craig; this book has 1,500 questions on all things Celtic, ranging from sections on ‘the early years’, ‘scottish cup final victories’, ‘player nicknames’ to individual player trivia. An excellent book containing a wealth of information, the book is an extremely useful reference point, and conjures up memories of some unforgettable moments and players in Celtic’s magnificent history. It must also be noted that £1 from every copy sold will be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Keep an eye open in all local bookshops for ‘The Hoops Quiz Book’ and try and test your fellow clubmates, in doing so deciphering the wannabe bhoys from the clever celts!
